L'histoire d'IMPULSE.racing
How did the Impulse story begin?
The beginnings of the Impulse brand are closely linked to the Eleven MX brand. Over the years, we realised that customisation was very interesting and we thought why not do it on outfits? The aim was to do it not just on jerseys, but also on trousers, and to make a complete outfit 100% personalised, with no minimum quantity, starting with one piece. We worked on it and tried subcontracting, but it didn't work out, so we decided to do everything in-house, so that everything would be 100% made in France.
The impulse brand came into being in 2018, when we set up our own workshop and developed our own clothing so that the brand would correspond 100% to us.
Can you tell us about the brand's special features?
What's special about the brand is the fact that it's 100% customisable, and there's no minimum order quantity for customers. The other special feature is the online configurator, which gives customers an instant rendering of their outfit, colours and logos, so they can really personalise everything, even the trousers.
We then manufacture the garments in our workshops in France using a sublimation process, which means that we first print on the fabric and then cut out each yoke so that the seamstresses can assemble it. We really are 100% made-to-measure and on demand.

The brand is evolving with the recent partnership with MJC, can you tell us more?
MJC has a long history that goes back almost to the creation of the company, starting with Eleven MX in 2011. We started a partnership a year after Eleven MX was founded, so from 2012, with the supply of the team's deco kits. We've evolved over the years along with the team.
In 2023, there was an opportunity to support the MJC team in terms of clothing, so naturally we spoke to Loic Le Foll, director of the MJC team. We talked to him because it seemed logical to us to have this opportunity to support them on the clothing side. We took a long look at things and said, why not? So for the 2024 season, we'll be supporting them in all aspects of their clothing and driver equipment, supplying them with trousers, jerseys and gloves.
What's special about this partnership is that we've decided to create a different collection for each Grand Prix to show the diversification and customisation of the outfits and the creation of new collections throughout the year.
How would you like to see the brand evolve?
As far as the brand is concerned, we've made very good progress over the last few years and our objective with this partnership with the MJC team is to be much more in the spotlight, particularly abroad. So it's a good opportunity to be able to go to every European country, to the major races, to showcase our products. The aim is to be able to develop on a slightly more international scale and go into other European countries, particularly with the development of our brand and the launch of this new impulse.racing website. The brand is going to break away from Eleven MX, the only site where you could get access to outfits, and Impulse.racing is going to become a brand in its own right and stand on its own two feet.
Any final words?
The DNA of the brand will always remain the same, with customisation and made in France, because we're very attached to customer service and the quality of our products, that's really our guiding principle.
We want to grow the brand and develop it further, but we will never do so at the expense of customer service. We make it a point of honour to continue to develop internally and to respect these two guidelines.
Now that you know everything... Enjoy the ride!
